I got the regular version about two years ago and love it. After the dog finally did enough damage to them (and the soles were almost worn through anyway), I decided to try the waterproof version in the same size this time. They are definitely more comfortable. I probably should have traded them in for a half size larger but they can be worn and I was concerned the next size up would be too loose. I still hope they loosen up a bit after wearing them fully. I have a high arch and it's hard to find a shoe with enough support that doesn't cut into my ankle and Achilles foot, but the old ones were pretty comfortable and these seem to be.
