I bought this for one reason: press the burgers into the pan like steaks and shake to get a crispy thin hamburger patty. Kids love these burgers. The steel of this product bends under pressure. Maybe I'll do something it wasn't meant for but looked solid. I really like the front edge. I can paste anything. Good product just not for my purpose. Updated - this turned out to be a really solid item in my kitchen. The steel can bend if I put a lot of pressure on it, but the construction and sharp leading edge make up for any shortcomings. I now apply it to the grill, pan and front edge for quick cutting during prep. I hand wash it and after a few months of use it still looks brand new. For this reason up to 5 stars. 2nd update - I'll still be lining up my favorite dishes, but make sure you don't accidentally put anyone in the dishwasher. Still looks great and still has a sharp edge
