Review on πŸ“ CWTools DIMR 0105 Indicator Measuring Tool by Nick Narvasa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The base is in no way inferior to the more expensive ones. Dial ca.

I mostly judge by base. I didn't really bother with the dial and used it to apply blush to get closer and then switched to a test light just to be sure. This watch face is perfect for that. FWIW I compared this dial to a much more expensive dial and compared the high end dial to within 0.001 throughout the trip. I just don't know if I can trust him, so I use quality indicators where it really matters. The base is as reliable as one that costs four times as much. The hand is firmly fixed and does not bend under the action of a conventional indicator. The magnet probably doesn't weigh 176 pounds and is noticeably not as strong as the much more expensive base, but it's solid enough. I will buy more coasters (no dial). The adjustment screw is in an awkward position next to the display, making it difficult to access at times, depending on how hardwired your setup is. But it does what it's supposed to do, and that's how this type of base works. If you're looking for a good, solid base and can use a rough dial, go for it. If you only need bases these are available here at Revain and you can get two if you pay for a different brand. That's what I do
