I installed this case last fall and it installs in no time: just wrap the straps around and tighten! The cover stayed in place through a severe Colorado winter (three snowstorms with 60 mph winds) and when spring came the cover quickly came off and was still in perfect condition. Update November 2017: I have had this cap for over 10 years. It's about 6 months a year on the AC unit. During those 6 months he is exposed to constant sunlight (at 6,000 feet), high winds, freezing temperatures and snow. The case is still in excellent condition. No scuffs, holes or scrapes. Didn't expect this case to last so long! Excellent purchase!
