Don't buy these if you want the plastic trinket box they come in! The jewelry box sucks and breaks halfway the first time you open it. I can't confirm another person's problem of not being able to get a good burn after the first one, but the first burn went well. Note, however, that many cheap burners (and buggy firmware not updated by the user) are responsible for many bad burns. For this reason, I only buy well-known brands of DVD burners from manufacturers that have been around for a while and have a good track record of supporting their products. These aren't the cheapest DVD recorders you'll find, but in this case you get what you pay for. Always read customer reviews before buying CD/DVD burners; this can save you a lot of frustration later.
