Update: I have contacted a Revain representative. through their "Contact Us" chat and the rep sent me a new fan to replace the broken one. Thank you Rewin! :) Original review: I feel totally involved! I thought that if I paid more for a box fan I would get a better, stronger and longer lasting fan. I strongly doubt it. The cord is not 8 feet long and is not heavy duty. The fan is no heavier than any other cheaper box fan I've seen on the market. break a cheap pen. In fact, the handle REALLY broke off on one side when I unplugged it. The fork doesn't fit under the handle so they must have put it there when assembling it. You have to squeeze the fork under the handle not once, but twice for it to insert. I cannot stress enough how difficult it is to do this without taking the fan apart with a screwdriver or breaking the fan by trying to insert a large connector into a smaller space under the handle TWICE. I ordered two of these fans. I was so excited when the first one broke and then I opened the box for the second fan and faced the same situation. I had to disassemble the fan, removing the cover on one side to access the handle latches to remove the handle so I could safely remove the cable/connector. See photos of the fan I strained to unplug from the handle. Strange! Whose brilliant idea was it to build these fans? With all the reviewers saying this, I feel like an idiot for still buying them. :(I will return the defective fan for a refund and replace it with a cheaper fan. I am so upset and angry.
