The photo does not convey the quality of the shoes. They look even better live. The color is very rich and the shoes are available with two laces, red and red and yellow as shown in the photo, with metal overlays that weigh down the laces well. They were packaged in a blue shoe box with amazingly detailed accents - the Hogwarts emblem, house emblems and charms scattered around the outside and inside of the box, Daily Prophet tissue paper, an image of the Golden Snitch on the lid - which my son was delighted with . I love the shoes and the packaging!
