Review on XYZ INVT Inverter Appliances 800W12V Clamps by Dave Cavazos

Ordered to have on hand for light use like hiking or car rides, and even for the occasional emergency. I'm glad I did because right after I received it, it was tested in real conditions. On Easter morning my wife and her mother were preparing food for the family's arrival when we heard a loud bang in the street and the electricity went out (I think the transformer exploded?). Everyone was upset and thought the meal and day might be ruined. So I drove the truck to the backyard behind the kitchen. We connected the inverter and started cooking! The only issue I had initially was that the supplied cables for the pos/neg terminals to the inverter were not adequate. They are so short that I had to put the circuit board under the hood next to the battery to turn on the inverter. Replace the wires later and you have a 5 star inverter. From an operational point of view, however, it worked phenomenally. We had no problem using the 1000W microwave to warm up a few side dishes. Since it's a pure sine wave, you shouldn't have a problem driving other frequency sensitive electronics. The input voltage reading is accurate according to my multimeter, and it also comes with high/low voltage input protection, reverse polarity protection and over-temperature protection, of course I would risk damaging it by testing these functions on purpose, but I accidentally tested the short circuits when I pocketed a brazier that was cooking ham. I noticed the output went blank so I was confused as to whether the broiler was on first since the broiler is older and doesn't have an "on" indicator or anything like that. So I checked the output and didn't read anything, opened the troubleshooting guide and found that your elements are shutting down if they try to draw too many watts. I looked at the roaster's power rating and found that it was too much power for this particular type of inverter. Since the lock worked correctly, the fuse did not blow either. If so, did they include a few extras. I really like this inverter very much and I only give it a 4-star rating here because the connection cables are included in the product description and do not meet the requirements.
