Review on Robot vacuum cleaner Ecovacs DeeBot OZMO 900, white by Jnis Bisters ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is okay, it's not a waste of money!

I've never owned a robot before, so given that this is my first one, I spent a lot of time researching the concept first. After that, I spent a lot of time carefully selecting a vacuum cleaner, and after all of that research, I believe that this particular model offers the best value for the money. Indeed, I prefer Airobots more, but prices for models that have navigation and cartography begin at 35,000. My relationship with Xiaomi just didn't pan out for whatever reason. My apartment does not have any pets or residents with long hair, but I do have a son who is 2 years old and enjoys running about the home and using the bed as a trampoline, and I don't want to restrict him to just doing these things. Dust from clothes, beds, and carpets is the primary contributor to filth, and the vacuum cleaner is more than capable of removing it. The battery is good for dry cleaning an area of sixty square meters (the robot estimates that the area to be cleaned is just thirty-eight square meters), and the cleaning procedure takes about an hour. This robot does not have the tiniest dimensions, but this is rarely a disadvantage because there will still be some spots that the vacuum cleaner will not fall into regardless of its size. Before the very first cleaning, I meticulously vacuumed the entire apartment with a handheld vacuum cleaner. In spite of this, the robot collected a third of the container's worth of compressed dust (it was less during subsequent cleanings). The vacuuming robot is a helpful aid that can maintain the space clean; nevertheless, this does not eliminate the requirement for manually vacuuming the space; rather, it merely makes it possible to do so much less frequently. It made sense to me to accompany him to the office so that I could be of assistance to him in the event that he ran into any unforeseen difficulties (and this happened more than once - but this is not the fault of the vacuum cleaner, but the features of the space). It is best to remove as many things as possible from the floor before cleaning it. This includes putting stools or chairs on tables, gathering toys, and taking off shoes. However, you are unable to do this since some places will not be completely cleansed.

Pros
  • I read numerous reviews that claimed the fringe was an insurmountable problem; yet, this carpet successfully overcomes the fringe, which is 6-6.5 centimeters long. But, it does so in accordance with some algorithm that I am not familiar with, and this alters the power of the suction. able to ride smoothly over the "waves" on the carpet as well as the little sills and bumps. It has a setting that allows you to modify the amount of water that is supplied to the rag, but I chose not to utilize the wet "cleaning" feature - see below. It comes with an extensive assortment of accessories when purchased, including a spare filter, side brushes, and a rag. It parks in a spot that is plainly rather constrained. The directions indicate to leave a half meter on both sides, but I could not locate a space in my flat that was acceptable for it, so I settled for leaving only 5 cm on the right and left. The image that may be found below depicts the parking spot as well as the surrounding area. Almost immediately, the vacuum cleaner and the phone "became friends," but not everyone's experience was as seamless as this one. A clear advantage can be shown in the presence of both improved navigation (with lidar) and cartography. The answer is a resounding "5" for dry cleaning, which is precisely why I purchased it in the first place.
Cons
  • Firstly, the application. Odd user interface, not always logical and not always easy to understand. Even though I'm not a programmer, I'm confident in saying that the term "user-friendly" does not refer to him. Errors in localization, such as "Charging canceled," are skipped at the point in time when the robot begins charging its battery. I am unable to indicate which rooms should be cleaned with water and which should be cleaned without water. The time displayed on the program is in Chinese; however, you won't be aware of this until the duster wakes you up at five in the morning (in the application I set "do not disturb before 10:00"). Despite the fact that the vacuum cleaner I purchased is an official "white" certified product with a guarantee through the year 2022, this is the result. 2: cleansing with water. But, in this particular instance, it is important to keep in mind that this is a prevalent area of weakness for robotic vacuum cleaners. The designers of IRobots accomplished an excellent job, as evidenced by the variety of models available for both dry and wet cleaning. As for my Ecowax, by the time I had used it for the second time, the microfiber cloth was already coated in pellets. In addition to this, it ended up dirty, but I was unable to wash the rag to a satisfactory level. On the carpet, the duster really had to work to pull a wet cloth along with him; the charge ended much quicker than when using a dry rag would have. The stains caused by the compote were still visible on the linoleum in the kitchen after it had been cleaned. After the so-called "cleaning," smooth surfaces (parquet, linoleum) were covered with wet pellets of dust due to the fact that the vacuum cleaner is capable of both dry and wet cleaning at the same time. Nafig. And this, despite the fact that the floor remained spotless once the dry cleaning was completed. That is to say, you have the option of using the duster twice, the first time without water and the second time with water, or you can give up on the wet cleaning method entirely. And that's exactly what I did. At the end, I used a rag to remove the shield so that it would be less cumbersome to maneuver about. 3 The robot trailing behind it is covered with little carpets. I will take away one, but there are still two more that need to go.
