Very good quality wooden needles
I started the cloak with #13 plastic circular needles. They drove me crazy hauling yarn. I bought these lighter, higher quality bamboo needles and saw a difference in how the wood glides over them. In addition, the connecting cord on these needles is much stronger than on plastic needles, which prevents the circular knitting needles from twisting too much.
