I just received it, so maybe I need to upgrade First, the appearance is very good. Looks like high quality leather. If this is the case despite the low price, it becomes clear why. If it starts to crumble or crack, then something is afoot. Second, I like the raw leather inner tab to keep the paper in place. Sew. Finally, the color, brown, is gorgeous and just right. I have a big problem: fat. If you have 13 cards and an iPhone then almost anything, you can't squeeze anything else in, like bills or receipts. In addition, the fact that the notes come from the side that is not closed on all sides but has a clasp means there is an increased risk of falling out, especially if the clasp is not kept under pressure. So I'm hoping they do a 2" thick version and maybe a shoulder strap. I know there's a market for this. I'll post again in a few months to report on its condition.
