I need to cut large white pills. Once blade becomes dull it crushes these pills. I have used cheap pill cutters. expensive pill cutters and after 1 prescription they all seem to dull and crush my pills. So far after 2 bottles of pills I'm still using the 1st pill cutter of the pkg of 2. What I have learned is that I need to wipe off residue after so many pill splits. Also go quickly not slowly. For the price these have held up rather nicely and I'm impressed with them. I almost went back to the smaller pills till this great little cutter. My pills cost .16 cents each. Larger pills cost .05 each so it's way cheaper to split them. But when other pill cutters start crushing them or cutting uneven the cost doesn't outweigh the frustration. So these great little pill cutter are doing a great job. Compared to more expensive ones I've used these are great. I know I'll have to replace them at some time. But they're worth it!
