I was having trouble finding the shoes I wanted for my 15 month old baby with very small feet. The sole of the shoe is made of fabric with two rubber inserts. I was worried they wouldn't last through the Wisconsin spring, but so far they're doing really well and she wears them every day. Suitable for beginners as the sole is flexible yet protective.
