Review on 🔨 DEWALT 20V DCD796D2 Hammer Drill by Tim Wheeler

It's been a long time but I've finally decided to buy a higher quality drill/hammer to replace a dead old Ryobi drill I've had for about 15 years. DeWalt has always been a brand I admired, so I decided to use them for a rat protection project that involved brickwork. So I used it for hammer drilling, drilling and screwing into my exterior walls. It's sooo cool to switch to the right drill press. This solution allowed me to quickly work with all aspects and it was easy to quickly adjust the speed to what I was doing. The flashlight is a little confusing - I still don't understand if it can be turned on or not (it seems you can just adjust how long it will burn). But the battery indicator is a nice touch. I think most people in the drill market are already used to the characteristics of this class of drill, but for me they are very refreshing. This is a very powerful, responsive, adjustable dill. Speaking of the battery, I still don't understand what batteries should be included with this drill. The box, pictures and description mention an XR battery. But it comes with a battery that doesn't have the (bare?) XR logo (it comes with two DCB203 model batteries). See the picture I uploaded. So I contacted Stanley support via online chat and they got back to me very quickly and said they would send me a replacement XR battery. However, the battery they supply is a 4.0Ah battery (DCB204 with "XR” on it). ), so I'm starting to wonder if this 2.0 XR battery exists since I can't find it anywhere, or if it's just a labeling and marketing confusion. If you do run into battery issues, Stanley will definitely sort you out pretty quickly.
