Only got half way down the shaft

Not sure why, but this is the first time I've ever ran into the issue where the grip would not go down more than half way. Had to cut it off.I'm not a seasoned pro at re-gripping golf clubs, but I have been re-gripping my own clubs for 10+years and this is the first time I've had this happenGrip felt nice, with a good tackiness. Shame I wont be able to get to find out. Had to go with a different extra grip I had lying around so I could still play after removing the old grip.

Pros

I like the feel and the slight tackiness of them. They also work well in wet conditions

Cons

It could alter the balance of the club, especially with an uneven number of grips

I really liked these grips at first. They are comfortable but don’t seem to be holding up at all. I play on average 2 rounds a week and several of my clubs are already rubbing off where my right hand goes. They’ve been on the clubs for about a month or so and already wearing out. Won’t buy again
