If I could give 10 stars or even better hearts I would. I wanted to make some shiny foam decorations. I had a glue gun. Big because I'm gluing cardboard and need a wide cover. Not suitable for small jobs. The nozzle is too big and there is no fine adjustment. I bought a small one. Only the little one didn't get hot. The foam will break as soon as you release it. Enter that gorilla gun. It has a small nozzle, high and low temperature. and ideal for smaller jobs. As far as possible, you can use any small multi-temp gun. and this one DOESN'T WORK! You can lose half of the glue stick while positioning the part. Not with this gun. I can fiddle with my thing so much and even put the gun on its side and not a single drop comes out. That makes it a super weapon for me. I have precise control, I can apply small amounts of glue where I need it and not a single drop is wasted during the work. I don't know why this gun has this feature and the other two don't, but I'm so glad I bought this one! To be on the safe side, I would also take the Gorilla Sticks. Beadwork is very easy and attaching small figurines, jewelry and anything small or slim (2mm thick glossy foam) serves to assemble or repair this weapon. Is there a downside? I haven't found it yet. The hardest part about using glue is waiting for it to finish. Patience is good for this. Plug it in before setting up your work surface and assembling the parts you will be working with. Remember. It will not release any glue waste before you are ready to use it. If I find an error I will come back and post it here. I don't think I will. Excellent weapon! January 28, 2021: Trigger section failed. My son opened it up and put in a metal spacer instead of a plastic spacer, but the other end of the trigger broke off. The plastic insides are not as efficient as the heating part. What confused me was the glue not flowing out and leaving the gun on for too long. That's probably not good for the health of the inner plastic. I still love it and I'm getting a new one. I will be careful not to glue anything until I am SURE the gun is ready to use. I'm pretty sure this is part of my problem. The safe way is to put some glue on the outside of the nozzle before it cools down. And don't use it next time until the glue runs off the tip. It's still a great weapon, I just need to learn how to be a great user! Also, don't forget to get the Gorilla Sticks. Some of the medium ones I bought for the first non-gorilla gun don't work either. (Now that I have a good glue I might give that first gun another try, but this one will always be my favorite.)
