Review on Gear Aid Tenacious Repair Fabric by Jessica Lewis

Amazing product everyone says I bought this to fix a small tear I found brushing a wall with a 48 hour old down jacket from got Arc'teryx! I sent the jacket back to Arc'teryx for repair first and they sealed the small hole in the jacket. As a standard practice they call to confirm what is being done and during the phone call they recommended Tenacious Tape for such little breaks (or something for that matter as they explained its wonderful uses as I have read in other reviews), since the heat seal they use may not be as effective as it is very small. After 2 years the tear off edge started to wear out as the seal is in the case cell so I looked for some tape to cover the weld and prevent it from reopening. The result has been very satisfactory, it is almost invisible since the pure color blends well and has a texture similar to the ripstop nylon that light down jackets are made of, it is more matte than shiny but in reality it is normal because the gap is closer to the bottom. Part of the cell, so not visible. highly recommended!
