I bought it hoping to get a wider brim, something that will actually protect my eyes from the sun. It can be 2mm wider than the standard cap. I got kind of excited about that. The hat is definitely big and I don't have to pull out the whole strap to get it on my head, but I was really hoping for a wider brim to actually shade my eyes. The quality seems to be there, there is no cheapness. If you have a wide face, this is not the answer. If you have a deep melon, this will work beautifully.
