I put them together this morning. I bought them to install computer speakers. I have a 43 inch monitor that doesn't leave room for speakers on my desk. My speakers are Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX. Stands are easy to assemble and adjust. The feet on the base can be used to level the stand on a hard floor. I have it on carpet so it's not really necessary. They look pretty just the way they are. The bracket/shelf that the speakers actually sit on can also be tilted a few degrees in either direction if desired. The speakers have their own snazzy stand, which requires a bit of fiddling to get it on the shelves properly, but that didn't really matter. Like I said, no big deal. I haven't used cable management, but it looks like it might be difficult to route the cables from end to end. While it doesn't look too heavy, it can take a bit of patience. My speakers are pretty light, so I can't comment on how much weight they can support or how balanced they are. e. For my needs they work fine.
