I bought this camera along with a Sigma 1.4 lens to improve my video conferencing as it was well rated and cheaper than comparable options was from Sony. .After a month of disappointment I am unfortunately going to be returning this camera and lens. To be clear: the camera worked for me and the picture was perfect. The main problem is that the Canon USB WebCam software is really laggy and inconsistent and the HDMI output requires a capture device and also has a lag that makes it extremely difficult to sync the audio without a ton of tweaking and additional professional software. This camera lacks an external audio interface and the built-in microphones are not good enough in my opinion. If you're looking for an improved streaming/webcam option, I suggest you look into other options.
