I made the decision from the start to only use the kick function when absolutely necessary. First I make a sound (beep function), then I move on to vibration. I have found that these traits alone can go a long way when training our two Pitbull/Husky mix dogs. The only thing I would like to change is that the "V" for vibration is set by setting the intensity scale to zero. The dial shows v1234. So if you have to turn the device on to deliver a shock, you MUST remember to turn it off again. I would prefer if the vibration had its own button like a beeper. I also like the bell limiter, but that's something I don't need right now. I had to put longer probes on a dog with shorter hair, it made no sense but it worked. Overall very satisfied so far, after 4 or 5 weeks.
