The plastic cover is fine, but the rubber gasket that came with it wasn't thick enough to seal it on my 2016 Cherokee. And using both is too thick. Luckily I had a rubber sheet from another project that worked. You will of course need this item if you want to pump, but be prepared that you may have to do the sealing yourself. For reference I used 3/16" neoprene with a durometer of 30A (nice and soft for a good seal). McMaster has 6" x 6" squares for about $10. Cheaper tires will probably do as well.
