I'm 4ft 9in and about 140-145. I usually wear L or XL when my chest is tight. tight but the sleeves were too long. I think I would have preferred XL for a looser and more comfortable fit, although then the sleeves would have been too long, but I didn't really hate L as it was tight. made it parted in place as there is no snap to keep it closed or open at will. There are snaps on the bottom for easy access to the bathroom etc.
