The kettle is used as intended. I chose it for its looks and cool touch pen. This finish just keeps getting worse. White spots turn yellow in places, and the black and white trim is completely worn out in places. Is it from the heat? As soon as it whistles, we turn it off. Very disappointed. We've had him for about 6 months.
