After chewing over a million pieces of rope and getting tangled in chains around trees, I needed an alternative. That's when I started looking for cable ties. In Alaska we need something super powerful. I have a crazy little Malimute who refuses to be tied up unless she's in the sled with me. I love giving my pups room to run and when I saw this tie was 40ft I fell in love with it. I didn't know what to expect in terms of durability as I've never used a product like this before, but I'm very impressed. It has healed for 5 months with no wear. The chain was constantly pulled back and forth and has no scratches or cuts. The brackets are heavy and stay in place. I've ever opened it up and it easily wraps around trees, posts and just about anything strong enough to hold a dog. I like that when it goes straight it has a bit of slack so it doesn't get stuck right away when it hits the end of the chain. It keeps her from choking, and I like that. This is 100% the best product I have bought so far for my crazy little girl and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a medium to large sized dog that wants them to walk even when chained outside!
