I love these boots! It took a few days to break in, but after that they fit so comfortably that I could endure changing service staff (restaurant staff) if I forgot my usual sneakers at home. Some of the cleats on the left were damaged almost immediately by shifting gears on my bike so I'd say you can expect that when you ride, but I had a small accident on my bike while wearing them and they did protected my feet from the road. Rash or other damage, really. They have been worn but my feet are fine and I immediately bought another pair. They don't have a steel toe cap. It might be obvious, but they popped up when I searched "steel-toed boots for women". So if that's what you're looking for, this isn't it. All in all great boots at a great price and I feel like a hot girl! Thanks very much!
