Review on 🌲 WV Timber Beard Oil: Cedarwood and Fir Needle Scented Conditioning Oil by Mountaineer Brand, 2 oz Bottle by Danielle Tucker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite beard oil so far and the only one with pine resin, but not quite what I was hoping for.

Pine Tar Beard Oil I've had my eye on for a long time. Ever since using a bar of Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap, I've been looking for a beard oil with this smoky scent. This is the first pine tar beard oil I've seen and while I didn't smell it my wife said she did and I saw small dark droplets of it (it dissipates quickly) so I KNOW that it is there. , it just isn't as smoky as I was hoping for (although I know it might not be for everyone). The oil is as good as any other beard oil I've used. I don't have any particular skin or hair issues I'd like to treat, I just like a bit of shine and scent and this material ticks all the boxes perfectly. A plastic bottle with a screw cap (also plastic) with a dropper embedded in it. The label is a glossy sticker that (like other beard oils with glossy sticker labels) will corrode if oil gets on it and stains of the colored sticker will appear on your hands that are difficult to remove without rinsing the oil off your hands together. The solution to this problem is to wash the bottle with soap and water along with your hands after you've applied the product, but instead I'd like to see a glass bottle with a frosted sticker. At nearly $5 an ounce, it's not the cheapest option, but it's a niche product from a small company in a big market, and likely priced accordingly. I'll probably buy it again, but I'll shop around and try to find the best price per ounce.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
