The glue will cause the filter to stick to the door, allowing the smell of dust to enter

At first I liked the smell it gave off. I noticed a dusty smell after a few uses. I opened the door to access the filter and the filter came out and was stuck to the door. The glue from the filter made it sticky. It also doesn't seem tight enough because when the vacuum was on I looked through the filter door and saw that the blown air was moving the filter causing a dusty smell to mix with the filter smell. So before every cleaning I have to open the door to put the filter back in. I don't know if it's bad design or if I just got a defective or improperly glued filter.

Pros
  • Did you know that your vacuum cleaner has filters that need to be checked frequently? Depending on your household, it is recommended to replace the vacuum filters every 3-6 months. Changing the filters regularly will help keep your vacuum cleaner working at peak efficiency. Refer to the BISSELL vacuum user manual for replacement instructions.
