When I replaced it it dropped from 222 to 7ppm. But I haven't even been a month and I'm back at 137ppm. I have an emollient, sediment and carbon filter that filters down to 0.5 microns before I go in this reverse osmosis filter. I just do not understand. Most people say reverse osmosis filters should last a year or two. I use well water, but I flush the sediment out of the pressure tank every few months and it's clean. UPDATE: This update is primarily to respond to the seller's concerns. It's hard to tell if it was a defective filter or if the design just didn't suit my case, but I have to say the seller was very accommodating of my needs. He kept in touch and offered many solutions.
