This winch is great. Certainly a 5 star product. However, its performance was somewhat disappointing. Oh sure, the line speed is faster than most without a load, the pull is as it should be, and the fit and finish is great. What's wrong? In fact, my old Warn M8000 is just as good. I'm just not sure if the winch costs almost $1,000 more. The internal layout seems about the same between the two. As good as this thing is, I have a feeling it's best for draining the wallet. Winch M8000. I still don't regret the purchase.
