I love how this ice mold makes square ice with non-rounded edges. I just love the look of perfect square ice cream. Clearing the ice wasn't too difficult, but I have a feeling it could do better. The lid does a good job of preventing things from falling into the ice, but does nothing to seal the bowl. I want the lid to fit snugly on the ice tray as the gaps between the lids can still allow freezer smells to get into the ice. You can also use the ice tray to make wonderful square ice cream! I use distilled/reverse osmosis water to minimize contamination to make clean ice and they looked fine.
