We have long carpets in the synagogue and they tend to slip, which causes a lot of problems, especially when elderly people walk on them - it's dangerous! So we took this huge roll of sticky mat and put it under the skids. Now it stays in place. It was easy - every week we rolled up the skids to clean the floor, so we unrolled the rug and then folded the skids over it. Stay in place. No tripping, no slipping. Still works great and still looks new after a few months. Thumbs up.
