Tempo works but needle falls off

Tempo seems accurate! BUT it has a little arrow that moves and keeps falling. I have kids and of course I can't put down tiny sharp metal objects so it's very stressful every time they fall. Is that much. That's why I gave 4 stars. But the thermometer is great!
