Bought this brush almost 2 years ago. I can vouch for how durable it is because you can see the frizzy hair it needs to detangle. I keep it in the shower and use it every day. Yes the finish is tarnishing and there are some splinters but not a single part of the brush is broken. All bristles are present and working. I think it's important to note that the handle and brush head are the same part. A wonderful feature that extends the life of the brush. It detangles very quickly without breaking or tearing the hair.
