Expensive + overall bad experience + dowels missing from gear bag!

Ok guys, first if you want to assemble your furniture, go to IKEA. This is my main conclusion. They have years of experience in making this experience as easy as possible for the customer. That's a rule I'll never follow again. The cube shop itself, once complete, isn't that bad. Looks like any other cube organizer. But, Mother of God, she will cut off several years of her life to get there. When assembling, you need to be very careful. Now it's hard to describe whenever I thought it was going to collapse or break, but as a longtime IKEA customer it was a lot harder and less profitable. I bought two of these and two tier organizers. At first I actually managed to break the shelf and didn't bother installing the shelf because the hardware bag didn't have three dowels. I thought it would hold so I picked it up but damn I was wrong. The whole thing collapsed and cracked the shelf, left hanging a few pins and screws, and broke other connections. I was just grateful he didn't collapse on my dog who was checking what I was doing. One of the floor organizers is missing the complete gear pocket. The whole experience was just bad. And it's just not worth it. IKEA has the exact same cubes for half the price. I didn't send them back because they are heavy and I could hardly lift them to take them to my apartment, I didn't want to carry them back to the post office. But never again. Again. If you have an IKEA store and you want THAT, save yourself the hassle and shop there for half price.
