I honestly don't know what went wrong here. I bought this when I saw decent reviews and was in dire need of a cooler for my dorm room. When it arrived, however, I didn't really want to test it because it is made of very cheap plastic in terms of looks and handling. Not the worst, but for the price I would have expected better. The problem is, since you need to add water for the cooling to work, there shouldn't be any exposed wires on it, especially in the chamber where you put the water soaked filter. I may have received a defective electronic product, or maybe I should bite the bullet and give it a try, even given the obvious safety hazard, but I just don't recommend it. I'm only giving an extra star because they made it easy to send back.
