I'm new to the dongle world. I bought my MacBook Pro 16 about 9 months ago and it only offers 4 USBC and a headphone jack. Other ports are not available and this forces you to buy third party adapters. I don't like buying junk or even inferior products. I am very satisfied with this product! It has an aluminum look and the machining has a low tolerance. When you connect different cables or insert memory cards, you know they will be inserted accurately and without distortion. My camera is a Canon EOS 1D X and I shoot in JPEG RAW while my videos are recorded in 1080P. I only mention this because the file transfer is very fast and I've never had any connection errors.
