So I almost returned them. When I first played around with these the chain piece didn't slide very far onto the post so they were in place and the backs barely fitted. But after trying them twice, this problem resolved itself. Maybe it was just a bump that needed rubbing off. Now this piece slides as far as I want with a slight wobble. The pin on the star part of the earring is too high, at the point of the star. Yes, something lower would be better, but not critical. They are beautiful, the chains are dainty and I love that you can combine the chain with other bollards.
