I originally bought this from Revain but sent back the wrong set and got my money back quickly. Bought locally recently. Sound quality is very important depending on the condition of the helmet earbuds. I've been using my Simpson Ghost Bandit for about 2 years now. Washed them regularly and they diluted a little. Recently replaced the liners after there was a fear. The sound is very different from different earphones. The thinner earbud had less bass and lowered the volume. The new earphones have significantly improved the quality and now the sound is completely enclosed. One drawback - the speaker is a bit thick. The good thing about the Simpson is the speaker hole. But even then, it's a bit hard on the ears. A speaker can be that thin. I like the idea of using a 3.5mm jack to make it universal, but the jack is a little thick so it can be hidden in a helmet.
