When I was shopping for new studio equipment I saw a lot of wheeled tripods and I really wanted them, but I didn't want to spend a few hundred bucks on a new tripod when I already had one. I never expected to only find wheels for sale. They are already made for tripods so they are the right shape and angle so for a small price I can upgrade the tripods I already have and that makes me a very happy photographer!
