This bag exceeded my expectations in a good way. I was looking for a nice, light, durable hiking bag and I found it! A couple of things that I really liked, firstly, is the padding on the shoulders. It's thick enough to support the weight of the bag, but it's not stiff where it still doesn't cushion. It also breathes, so there is almost no sweating of the shoulders. The chest strap has a built-in whistle that was discovered rather by accident. The waist and hip belts have integrated zippered pockets for easy access to small items. The main pockets are huge and have a divider inside. Comes with a very good rain cover. The part I love is that she's holding my wand! FINALLY a bag that fits my rod and I don't have to stuff it with everything else. The laces are perfectly aligned to keep it taut and secure and there is a strap at the bottom to support my real one and keep it from slipping down. Overall great bag and the price was exactly what I was looking for
