In general, this printer performed well when in use. There were some sporadic issues with toner resetting and black spots printing everywhere, but there were very few of those. I'm generally good with technology, but I find this printer to be easier to use than other products. The printer now jams about every two sheets when I use duplex mode; in single-sided mode, it still prints, but it makes a noise that can wake the dead; now maybe 1/3 of all sheets are ejected. All in all, this printer breaks so quickly that I haven't given up Brother products entirely; I might still buy from them in the future, albeit not without a protection plan.
