I installed as a backup camera and a security camera on a wheelhouse, commonly known as a mobile icehouse. The camera really helps me when parking the 8x21ft trailer. Whether backing up in crowded gas station parking lots or in my yard at the end of a trip, the camera gives the information I need to put the trailer where I want it. I installed on an existing furrion mount with an adapter bracket I found on Walmart. Its a tight fit for the included antenna so I bought a magnetic one that terminates in a wire to connect to the camera. I also wired up a 12v led relay that I can turn the camera on and off at will with the included remote. My installation has the 12v wire always powered off my battery and I didn't want the battery sucked dry.
