This is a pretty good hair dryer and definitely doesn't dry out or frizzy hair, but it took me twice as long as my old hair dryer to do the job. This is because this hair dryer doesn't get really hot, but I'm sure my hair will be much better off in the long run. I really like that you can customize the ions, that's what attracted me in the first place. I keep it low in the beginning to get the volume up and then crank it up more when I'm done. I wish it had a retractable cord, I forgot to even test it assuming it was standard for the price but I was wrong. Hopefully it will last as long as my old hair dryer, almost 8 years!
