I love the mini dresser! I read the reviews and was a bit worried about the quality. In fact, everything worked - no disadvantages on my part! It's not a super high quality jewelry box, but in my area of crafting it would be overkill anyway. It looks very nice as it is and in the future I may paint, dress or decoupage it, but it's perfect for the way I use it. All drawers slide in and out easily. (I can put some wax on the tabs to make them glide even better). The drawers come out all the way when I want them to, which is handy, and then they come right back up. I could stop later as another reviewer suggested if in the future I don't want them to slip out all the way. I find the drawers perfect for organizing my many standard-sized art brushes by type (as well as a few smaller tools): acrylic, watercolor, craft, stencil brushes, etc. I also keep all my longer brushes in one box. . With a few small tugs on each divider, I got the dividers out without breaking them, and I can lightly sand the bottom of this drawer to remove any remaining glue residue (it's barely noticeable). I plan to use Xacto to cut out the dividers, glue them together and re-glue them in place to arrange them the other way, lengthwise, in this drawer. So far I see no need to line the bottom of the drawers, but over time the drawers stay clean. I may be able to because I may want to use the chest for something else in the future as it is versatile. Even without being too heavy to move, I find the chest sturdy enough to store my acrylic paint organizer on top. He won't break!
