Review on Compostable Trash Bags Bulk - Reli. Green 4 Gallon 360Ct, ASTM D6400 Certified, Eco-Friendly Garbage Bags For Small Waste by Justin Fletcher

Very, very fragile trash bags

I wanted to try some recyclable bags, so I ordered two cases of these. They are EXTREMELY fragile. From my experience, about 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 tear along the seam as you remove them from the roll. So those bags immediately go into the garbage themselves. If you put anything other than dry paper into these bags, they are likely to tear or split along a seam and disgorge their contents onto your floor. Forget putting aluminum beverage cans or plastic water bottles into these bags, as they will rip through the side as soon as you lift the bag out of the trash can. Wet paper towels and large masses of shredded paper are also a no-no. And if, like me, you ty to tie the top of the bag shut when you're ready to throw it away, you can't do that either as it rips the tops of the bags apart. The only good thing is that for small amounts of dry paper, they are adequate and fit standard office trash cans.
