The missing part. on accessories

The packaging clearly states that this item comes with a ball joint which according to my installer was not included. I have no idea how to fix this error. But I feel I paid too much if all the details were not given. I cannot return or exchange it because it is installed on my motorcycle. Dissatisfied.
