Works on 2005 Toyota Corolla SE 1.8L 5 Speed Manual Transmission. The car was bought used and only came with a remote control. This new remote control came fully assembled with a battery, a small key ring, instructions and a warranty card. Follow the instructions to put the machine into "programming mode" and then program the old existing remote first (not sure if this is required but done just in case) and then the new remote. Got it on the first try. Did it in the driveway before driving to work so it's a quick process. Good buy.
