Review on STON Edge Server by Dontra Majmudar

I like how easy it is to deploy and configure, as well as the fact that it's open source. It has all of the features you'd expect from an enterprise-grade solution but at a fraction of the cost. The UI could be improved if they were to integrate with other products such as Splunk or Logentries. We are solving for log aggregation and monitoring in our organization. This has helped us have visibility into what's going on in our environment so we can make informed decisions about security patches and software updates. The speed of STON is really amazing, it's so fast that I can't even imagine how much faster would be if we used any other server for our needs. It also has an excellent API which makes development easy in AngularJs. There are some minor bugs but nothing worth mentioning at this point. Overall great software! We use STON Edge to process all data from our big database with over 300 million rows per month.
