I am a skeptic and unfortunately in today's world skepticism is good because modern products tend to be overpriced and advertised for what they are. I too was skeptical about this product when I bought it and as I was new to it and definitely never installed a window lock I braced myself for disappointment. So, after yesterday's installation, I'm happy to report that it has exceeded my expectations so far. I followed the instructions 100% and with care and time it was easy and simple.4 Tips:1. Clean window surface 1000%2. Wet both the window and the surface of the film well. I just used water and it worked fine.3. The surface of the film to be applied to the window is the side where the protective film was applied.4. A sharp knife is essential, and corner shears come in handy. I achieved everything I wanted and more. I can't see neighboring new builds through the windows with minimal loss of light. Peony flowers on the glass shine like diamonds and look like black tulips at night. Now if only Rabbitgoo would create a chain that would drown out the noise from the neighbors or protect my house from Covid. lol. The only negative was the service charge to New Zealand. which Revain had charged me, namely 3x3 rolls. The shipping costs corresponded approximately to the product price. I thought this was exaggerated. However, to be fair, it arrived a week earlier than recommended and Revain gave me access to a range of window chains not available below.
